Tour Plan

Day 1 Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel / Airport for a journey to Masai Mara game reserve with a stop-over at the edge of the escarpment, to marvel at the great eastern rift valley ; a geological phenomena emanating from the Red Sea to Mozambique in south Africa. Arrive Masai Mara in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive dinner and overnight in a lodge or camp.

Day 2 Maasai Mara (Full Day)

The entire day will be spent in game viewing and exploring the park’s high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals including the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. In the afternoon, an optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged (at extra costof $25). Here you will be welcomed by the locals singing and dancing, a sacred ritual that has formed their rich cultural tradition. Part of the tour includes a glimpse to their local homes and way of life.Return to your lodge/ camp for dinner & overnight

Day 3 Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Early morning game drive then later depart Masai Mara for lake Nakuru national park to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives around the lake and into the national park. The lake Nakuru host the world’s largest concentration of flamingos which canopy the edge of this alkaline Rift valley lake. Pelicans and other bird species are abundant and the adjacent national park host lions, Giraffe, Warthog, leopard etc. There is a Rhino sanctuary and thus Rhino sightings are almost guaranteed. All meals and overnight in a lodge/ tented camp of choice.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru – Amboseli

Depart from lake Nakuru after breakfast. Proceed to the Amboseli national park through Nairobi for lunch. Arrive Amboseli in the late afternoon with welcome views of the Mt Kilimanjaro [if weather permits] and a short game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight in lodge or camp.

Day 5 Amboseli (Full Day)

We will start the day before sunrise to enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro and set off for another extensive game drive before the clouds build up over the summit. Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and is snow-capped at the peaks. The majesty of this tropical mountain makes Amboseli an ideal photographer’s haven by offering a spectacular back ground for wildlife and scenic photography. Herds of elephants inhabit this swampy park together with lions, cheetah, buffalo, warthog, rhino and different species of antelopes. The park is also a home of interesting bird species. All meals and overnight in a lodge / camp.

Day 6 Amboseli – Diani Beach

After Breakfast transfer to Nairobi and catch an afternoon flight to Diani. Start of your Kenya Coastal beach vacation for 6 days 5 Nights in a beach hotel.

Day 7-10 Diani Beach (Full Day)

You have Four full days to spend at your own pleasure. With options of Day one you can be picked after breakfast at the reception have a full day excursion at Mombasa Islands visiting the old town, Fort Jesus and visiting the artisan local market at an extra cost.

The second and third day you may decide to simply relax and soak up the sun or if you want to keep active there are plenty of things to do! You can try kite surfing, or diving and snorkeling on the spectacular coral reefs, or you may wish to join a boat excursion to Kisite Mpunguti National Marine Park to spot dolphins and other marine wildlife. There’s also the option to visit Shimba Hills National Reserve, the impressive Fort Jesus on Mombasa Island, the Diani Beach Art Gallery or Akamba Handicrafts Cooperative where you can buy traditional wood carvings, masks, bowls and ornaments at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight stay at The Sands at the Chale Island.

Day 11 Diani –Nairobi

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to the airstrip. We select flights out of Diani that connects your outbound flights in good time. This scheduled flight must arrive in Nairobi to connect with your international flight back home.

NB; Timings indicated are meant to act as guidelines, departure times may change especially for the game drives as it depends on wildlife sightings and climate patterns. Your safari driver guide in case of game drives and your airport representative in case of airport transfer times will advise you as you go along.
