Tour Plan

Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment, enjoying scenic 6 hours drive along the great rift valley with scenic views and a brief stop at a viewpoint. Continue through the countryside before arriving at the Masai Mara in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in this world-renowned reserve, home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, and more than 95 species of mammals. If traveling between July and October, you’ll witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.

Day 2 Game Drive in Maasai Mara
Breakfast and leave for a full day game drive with packed lunch. You may encounter the Big Five – lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo, alongside giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and countless antelopes. If traveling between July and October, you will witness the spectacular great migration at the Mara River. You have an option of visiting the cultural bomas to learn about the Masai culture (an extra USD 25 per person) or an early morning balloon safari offering panoramic views of the Mara  (USD 500 per person). Later evening dinner at the camp/lodges.

Day 3 Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After an Early Breakfast you will check out from the lodge/camp, depart from Maasai mara with an en-route game drive and optional Masai village visit. Head towards the Great Rift Valley to reach Lake Nakuru National Park a 5 hours drive taking you through the escarpments and scenic landscapes. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru is renowned for its flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and over 400 bird species. The park is also a sanctuary for black and white rhinos, tree-climbing lions, and Rothschild’s giraffes. The combination of bird life, big game, and breathtaking landscapes makes Nakuru an unmissable stop.

Day 4  Lake Nakuru to Amboseli
After breakfast, drive southwards to Amboseli National Park, passing through small towns and local communities. After a scenic 6 hours drive, Arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Amboseli is celebrated for its large elephant herds and offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. The park’s swamps and plains attract lions, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and a rich variety of bird life.

Day 5 Game Drive in Amboseli
Enjoy a full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. The park provides excellent opportunities for close-up photography of elephants, with Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. You’ll also encounter other wildlife such as hyenas, jackals, giraffes, and hippos in the swamps.

In between game drives, relax at your lodge and enjoy the views of the vast open plains.

Day 6 Amboseli to Nairobi
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, capturing the golden glow over Kilimanjaro and spotting predators before they retreat. Return to the lodge for breakfast before driving back to Nairobi approximately 4-5 hours drive depending on traffic. Your safari concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.
